I've spent 20 years building backend systems. The work I care most about is the kind where the engineering makes a real difference for real people: AI that removes friction humans shouldn't have to deal with, platforms that scale because someone thought them through, tools worth maintaining.
I'm curious about most things. I boulder, swim, and travel. I think about stoicism more than is probably normal. I also train using Mike Mentzer's HIT principles, and the idea of less volume, more intensity, done right, maps surprisingly well onto how I think about code. Let's chat about tech.
